What's an API key?
It's like a password that lets Nuxa talk to your AI for you. You create it once on your AI's website, copy it, and paste it into Nuxa.
Chat-app subscriptions (like the Kimi, DeepSeek or Gemini apps) don't include API access. Keys are usually free to start or pay-as-you-go.
Guides for AIs that use a key
Using ChatGPT or Ollama? You don’t need a key: sign in with ChatGPT, or set up Ollama on your Mac.
