Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DV8 Solutions LLC (“we” or “us”) collects when you use the Nuxa app and getnuxa.com, and what we do with it. The short version: your notes stay on your Mac, you choose which AI sees them, and we don’t sell personal data. Questions? Email info@getnuxa.com.

Your notes

Your notes are stored as plain files on your Mac. We don’t store them and we can’t see them.

AI features

You connect your own AI provider, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, a free-tier provider, or Ollama. When you use an AI feature, Nuxa sends the note content that feature needs (for most features, just the page you’re working on) directly to the provider you chose. That provider handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.

• Private notebooks are never sent to any AI.
• With Ollama, the AI runs on your Mac, so nothing leaves it.
• Your AI keys are stored in the macOS Keychain on your Mac.

Your account

You sign in with an emailed link. For your account we store your email address and your purchase status, linked by an account ID. We use them to sign you in, run your trial and purchase, and send account emails such as sign-in links, trial reminders, and receipts for your purchase.

Payments

Stripe is the merchant of record for Nuxa purchases. Stripe collects your payment details, handles tax, and sends receipts, under Stripe’s own privacy policy. We never see or store your card number. Your purchase status is managed through RevenueCat, which records which account has bought Nuxa.

The website

• Analytics: getnuxa.com uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal data.
• Server logs: like most websites, our web server keeps standard logs of requests (IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for about two weeks, for security and troubleshooting.
• Your look preference: if you switch between the dark and light look, that choice is saved in your own browser only.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and the devices you tell us you’re interested in. We use them only to send Nuxa launch and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Service providers

We use a small number of companies to run Nuxa, and they process data only to provide their service to us:

• Stripe for payments, tax, and receipts
• RevenueCat for purchase status
• Supabase for sign-in and accounts
• Resend for sending account emails
• Cloudflare for website analytics, DNS, and email forwarding

What we don’t do

We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your account email and purchase status while you have an account. Email info@getnuxa.com to get a copy of the data we hold about you or to have it deleted. Some purchase records may need to be kept for legal and tax reasons.

Children

Nuxa is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data.
