Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and DV8 Solutions LLC (“we” or “us”) for using the Nuxa app and the getnuxa.com website. By using Nuxa, you agree to them. Questions? Email info@getnuxa.com.

Using Nuxa

Nuxa is a notes app for Mac. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it on your own Macs while you have an active trial, subscription, or Lifetime purchase. Please don’t resell Nuxa, share your account, or try to get around its licensing.

Your account

You sign in with your email address: we send you a link, and clicking it signs you in. Keep access to that email account secure, because anyone who can open the link can sign in as you.

Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with every feature. No credit card is needed. The trial is tracked per account.

Purchases

• Annual is a subscription that renews every year until you cancel it.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase that includes future updates.

Prices are shown on the Pricing page in US dollars. Payments are handled by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record: Stripe takes the payment, calculates and collects any tax, and sends your receipt. Stripe’s own terms apply to the payment. We never see or store your card number.

Canceling

You can cancel an Annual subscription at any time. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep full access until the end of the year you’ve paid for.

Refunds

You can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. See the Refund Policy.

When a trial or subscription ends

Your notes stay readable, searchable, and exportable. Editing and AI features lock until you buy. Your notes are never held hostage.

Your notes

Your notes belong to you. They’re stored as plain files on your Mac, and we don’t store or see their content. Because they live on your Mac, please keep your own backups.

AI providers

Nuxa works with an AI provider that you choose and connect, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, a free-tier provider, or Ollama running on your Mac. Your use of that provider is under its own terms, and any fees it charges are between you and the provider. We aren’t responsible for third-party AI services.

AI output, including polished notes, advice, and company research, can be wrong or incomplete. Review it before you rely on it.

Updates

We may update Nuxa from time to time to fix problems or improve it.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Nuxa is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, DV8 Solutions LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Nuxa in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Nuxa at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can’t be waived.
